There are three types of sign: Iconic, symbol and index. Iconic sign is something similar to what it represents.
Symbol sign is when we connect a reality for another by agreement.
Index sign is when we take advice of something present in our immediate
proximity (rising of brows toward an address for example).
Sign have got two components: significant (for example letters and sounds)
and meaning.
Significant element allow us to perceive the sign.
Meaning element is an idea or concept.
Sign is a perceptible
reality that substitutes to another reality (not necessarily perceptible)
on which it inform.
