There are 6 static principles of perception according to gestalt:
Similarity, symmetry, proximity, continuity, area and close Similarity is the circumstance that elements that share
characteristic similar (it forms, color, orientation, size, texture)
they are considered to be grouped.
Simetry is the circumstance that if simmetry exits among objects, we
perceive them in a global way (the parts of the objects are not perceived
for separate).
Proximity is the circumstance that we perceive to the near objects as
grouped objects.
Continuity is the circumstance that we grouped diverse elements in a line
or uniform curve.
Area is the circumstance that in figures that are superimposed we
consider as background that of more size.
Close is the circumstance that we ignore certain holes to complete a
figure.
